Service Request Check-List
For each civil service, please complete this form and forward the form, your court-issued paperwork, required copies, and retainer, to the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office, Civil Department. This can be done by mail or in-person at our office Monday through Friday between 8am and 4pm. The office is closed on County Holidays.

For all attorneys, law firms and in-state businesses, unless we have informed you that you are COD we can bill you for service. If you are serving a business or a Registered Agent, you do not have to fill out the Information sheet. The out-of-state retainer is $140.00. Thank you for allowing us to be of service, we appreciate your business.
